Shelly beach to Parker’s Hill – Great Ocean Road walk, Victoria

Too tired to write much tonight!

Day 2 Summary:

Glorious and quite different to day one. We spent most of our time in the forest hiking along old logging tracks amongst the Mountain Ash, Brown Stringybark, and Swamp gums. Majestic trees, ferns, flowers, mushrooms, birds and …….. koalas!!

Mountain Ash

After hiking the forest, we dropped down into Blanket Bay for a picturesque lunch and toilet break. Then back up into the trees for more koala action. It was a privilege to watch these beautiful animals in their natural habitat. This guy looked at us as much to say “what do you want?”

We finished the day by dropping into Parker River inlet before ascending a brutal set of stone steps to the carpark. The legs were burning.
