1. It’s so easy! From Singapore it is a 50 minute ferry ride to Bintan and with Tanah Merah Ferry terminal only a stones throw from Changi airport, transiting is a simple taxi.
Once you arrive in the resort all the details are covered. You don’t need to think about how or where you will eat, transport, or currency. Everything is right in front of you and you have already paid (unless you choose any extra excursions or spa treatments).
The biggest decision is in what order to undertake the activities or whether in fact you should move from your sun-lounge at all. If you have any queries you can just ask one of the GOs (games organisers) as they pass you in the dining room or by your deck chair.

2. The food is amazing.

You can even do an Indonesian cooking class!
3. The activities are vast and varied. The whole family will be happy with kids club readily available.

4. The weather is good (if you go in dry season). Tourist season is April to October when daily maximums sit at around 32 degrees. In our experience, there is an hour or so of rain around 1pm and the remainder of the day is dry.
5. Medical treatment on hand. Of course this is not something you wish to need, but it is very handy to know it is available. We did need to use this facility and found it affordable, quick and efficient.
Fortunately for us, it was something minor with Miss 13 suffering from an ear infection but one of our colleagues had a much more serious medical event and could not fault the treatment he was given.
